haha it was about 7-8 months earlier before the wedding
tp bile everything menjadi, it really worth my time
& happy bile my sibling kata i can jd WP plak cos i arrange almost everything
it's not i didn't trust org len, but i didn't want my wedding becomes burden to org lain
i wanted it to be easy & happy moment for others

been very2 busy (hello i don't even go on honeymoon trip lagi ye so jgn pk bukan2)

the designer of baju bertandang

today i want to reveal my baju bertandang designer etiquette.
the chronicle was:

mid April 2010 ~ sent the material to him. he promised to give quotation within a week.
End of may 2010~ haram xnampak bayang quotation. when we asked he said will give in few days which end up few months. reason??bz nk bukak new studio..xdpt nk hire PA..hello be professional la.dont give reason that makes u look stupid
Early June 2010 ~ we make up story kata our W day bring in advance sbb family nak we all kawen bfore puasa. we also mentioned if he's not interested to design our dress than we will take back the material..he kept saying "berminat2"
Mid June 2010 ~ barula nampak bayang quotation. 1 muka surat je pon.apesal smpai 2 bulan amik masa..patut 2 bulan da siap da tau..padahal masa memula hantar kain we all stated nak amik kain itu in July. June should be 1st fitting already
Mid July 2010~ 1st fitting. boleh pulak kau buat cepat lepas kitorng tipu kata W day 080810??
1 Aug 2010 ~ patut da mik baju this time..tp just dpt bj groom sbb my dress still not fit well
4 Aug 2010 ~ he couried my dress
5 Aug 2010 ~ my dress sampai.

bleh korng imagine if let say my W day betul2 8 Aug, the dress i dpt 5 Aug??habis aku xpayah nikah?xpayah sanding kt umah aku ke? xbz ke?xpayah nk cari kasut match?xpayah nk laundry??

and the dress not impressed me at all.sob sob
beads yang dia buh are not jahit..all tampal pakai gam..tercabut2 ok.lepas tu bleh plak sebelah kiri ade bead, sebelah kanan xde bead.xbalance..ni FMIL yg perasan sbb aku mls nk tgk da dress tuh.

owh xde plak pic dress itu..sbb xminat & xkesah & x excited pon nk mik pic..now ada kt FMIL dia nk p tambah beads

aku tau la aku ni customer picisan je..bile kau bg quotation aku try nego the price.
tp klu ko xagree on the price,say fix price and aku bleh amik balik kain tuh.
itu belum masuk kau xconsidere langsung aku dtg jauh dari perak, da set appoinment sesuka ati postpone. ingat aku p kl jupa ko sorg je ke??aku xde keje lain kat kl. janji kul 6, kul 7 baru nmpak muka.sangat xpandai jg ati customer. call susah nak angkat.sms pon payah nak reply. return call lagi la...

gembira nye saya..last 2 weeks i received my dress from bandung..so nk sneak peek bj itew...ngeeeee

tp sementelah dicoba, dress tuh small sket kt bahagian dada & longgar kt wrist...cane nih?kt ne nk alter?biasalah baju skali fitting..tp sgt3 ler puas ati dgn jahitan kemas, xnmpak pon tampal2 lace itu & sgt cepat..imagine 3 weeks i da dpt the dress incld shipping period tau...beading pnye la penuh pdhal arga tu kira paling mura i nego..hahahah i told him if with that price beading xbyk pon ok..tp dia boh penuh jugak cume xde la stone besar2 tu..stone bsr yg mhl kn?

xsabar nak pakai, boleh??

i hope my tailor kt ipoh tuh nk terima la alter this dress..kena buat muka sedih..
for those nak tempah baju kt ipoh i rcommend elly tailor kt ipoh town..kemas giler dia jahit & dia buat lace & chiffon jugak & nice!but a bit pricey la..klu kurung moden chiffon RM170..but confident la dia xkan rosakkan kain2 mhal u all!!

my wedding dress uwaa...

so like i said before, i had to go for silver dress juga memandangkan MIL da bagi kain lagi..
so last month we went to send the kain to this 1 designer la..xleh betau lagi sape :) i did ask him to add pink motive so my dress would not seem plain & boring. we sent to him, amik measurement bagai i think on 4th of April but until now he has not come out with any quotation!!

he promised to give us the quotation within 1 week, but when we sms him, he keep on postponed "another 2 or 3 days". Geram nye!! i am just afraid nanti dia buat perangai baju i siap very last minute.. i dont want it to be last minute since our wedding after raya, so xkan la bulan puasa i kena travel 2 or 3 times ke kl. god, i rasa mcm nak amik balik kain tu & send to other designer..but i admit la this designer punye product gorgeous..

Bandung Trip

It’s boring in the office. Boss is also not around. Theee
I want to wrap up my holiday (or shall I call it shopping activity??) in Bandung. It was 4 days trip with my fiancé & friends. The most important is my reception dress. I did contact a tailor there. So the day we arrived he came to our place & discuss on the design. He brought indon mag for my revision. That nite I spent looking to those mags sampai tetido.

The next day we went to Pasar Baru..The tailor waited at 1 of the textile shop. I chosed 1, like pic below

Muke we both xcaye dgn kata2 our tailor :)

Price??? Harga pas 250k Rp per meter.. Erkk its RM90 per meter.. ??!! lagi bek cari kt Malaysia, xpayah susah2 ke Bandung heee… So after confirm the design with tailor, he gave us list of material & quantity we needed to buy. Hunting punye hunting, at last I found a shop selling same material at price of 170k Rp per meter (RM61.20/m)..Thanks to my friend daus coz showed the SA pic he took (Fig 1). Then we spent a whole day in the Pasar Baru, beli kain for my family (hello I have 3 bro & 3 sis & need to buy kain for their spouse/kids as well oke!!).. Beli kain untuk deco bilik pengantin & nikah gazebo.. yang paling phatetic kn, si Messieurs E nak jugak kain shantung utk reception my side yang arganye RM5.4 semeter...beria i suh he choose other kain yang pricey sket la..tp dia xmo!

We also bought kain for kebaya (my friend boleh buat bisness plak), tgk2 hardcover card.. bleh dpt 1 pc RM2.10 incl shippingtp xlawa sgt. Yg paling oke & paling mura to me price around RM2.40. tp I didn’t ordered, I only need invi card price below RM2.00.
Then seperti yg diplan we went to FO at Dago Street. Xbest!! A bit kecewa. Mcm FOS kt sini je
So that nite the tailor came to our place & take measurement. All upah+shipping cost me less than RM1.5k (shipping je RM108, dia xmo pakai cheap nye shipping..this one 3days je dah sampai).

Day 3 we went for FO at Riau street, ok jugak & Rumah Mode..Rumah Mode paling byk diborong. But frankly baju for ladies mostly is oversized .. and semi high end brands xla byk sgt.. pon begitu aku shopping like 12-15 items… Petang tu sempat singgah ke Pasar Baru beli baju my sis pesan.In front of Rumah Mode

Then we went for body massage. Full body massage cost me RM36.60 only! Sayangnye xsempat nak wat mani & pedi which harga lebih kurang centu gak.. & then that nite the tailor datang again bring the dress utk fitting!mmg da siap, tinggal nk wat finishing je. he also brought us g enjoy2 heee

Last day we went to Tangkuban Perahu.. Barula merasa aktiviti holiday… Otw back makan kt Kg Daun..Tangkuban Perahu

Sebut pasal makan, that is the most thing I would miss in Bandung..sume tempat supir bawak makan sedap sgt.. tempat cantik then spinggan nasi lauk sume price below RM15. Okeh sgt!! kedai makan yang we all g were ayam goreng suharti, sari pawan, D cost...

Lastly I can’t wait to see my wedding dress!! One month lagi, sabar2
